Dr. Mark L. Farbman is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. A native Marylander, Dr. Farbman has been in private practice in Frederick since 1973. He has completed post-graduate courses in pharmacology and ocular pathology and is certified to use both diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. Dr. Farbman is a member of the Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association and is the former president of the Frederick County Optometry Society. An avid bicyclist and runner, Dr. Farbman lives in Frederick with his wife Gail.

Dr. Dawn R. Gill O.D.Dr. Dawn R. ill is a graduate of Salisbury State University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is a member of both the Maryland Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Along with providing routine eye examinations and contact lens services, Dr. Gill provides emergency eye care and is diagnostically and therapeutically certified to treat ocular diseases, including conjunctivitis, corneal abrasions, and eye allergies. She has worked closely with the elderly population in treating ocular disease and also thoroughly enjoys working with the pediatric population to provide routine comprehensive evaluations. Dr. Gill has been in practice at Longmeadow Optical for approximately three years and currently is looking to become a partner in the practice. Dr. Gill has enjoyed the opportunity to serve in the Frederick area and hopes to make it her home in the near future. |
